To forge auspicious Dharma affinities with all, the annual Lianghuang Repentance Ceremony and Yoga Flaming Mouth Grand Dharma Assembly were held at Yanshan Leizang Temple in Sydney, Australia with great splendour. The Lianghuang Repentance commenced on 24 March 2013 and concluded on 31 March, followed by the Yoga Flaming Mouth Salvation Ceremony on 1 April 2013.

為與各界廣結善緣，一年一度的梁皇寶懺及瑜伽焰口大法會在澳洲悉尼嚴山雷藏寺盛大開幕。2013年3月24日啟建梁皇寶懺，3月31日結懺，4月1日舉辦瑜伽焰口超度大法會。

The ceremonies were presided over by Vajra Master Lian Ou from Taiwan, with Master Lian Yu — renowned for his exceptional chanting — and the resident Sydney masters Lian An, Lian You, and Lian Ding serving as supporting priests throughout.

法會由來自台灣的釋蓮歐金剛上師主壇，和唱誦第一的蓮余法師及常住悉尼的蓮銨、蓮由及蓮定法師護壇下如期舉行。

As the opening bell and drum resounded together, the opening hymn "Incense Praise" invited the descent and blessings of all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. The singing was melodious and moving — seemingly soaring to the heavens — touching the heartstrings of all present. Many fellow practitioners wept, sincerely repenting the wrongdoings of countless past lives, washing away all dark karma, and purifying their hearts and minds under the great illumination of the Buddha's light.

開壇鐘鼓齊鳴，一曲「爐香贊」請來了諸佛菩薩的降臨與加持。歌聲委婉動聽，又似直入雲霄，觸動了我們的心弦——眾多同門聲淚俱下，懺悔累世所有的惡業，洗刷一切黑業，在佛光大加持下清淨自身的心靈。

This year's Lianghuang Repentance was somewhat different from previous years — a Dou Lamp Ceremony (拜斗燈) was added. The Dou Lamp is primarily a ritual for warding off evil and praying for blessings, seeking to pacify disasters, dissolve negative karma, and increase fortune and longevity. The names, addresses, and birth dates of participating devotees were written on "command tablets" and inserted into a "rice dou" (斗) filled with rice, topped with a "dou lamp canopy." Within the dou were ritual implements including a mirror, a sword, scales, a ruler, and scissors; during the entire ceremony, the "dou lamp" burned continuously.

此次拜梁皇寶懺與往年略有不同，增加了拜斗燈儀式。斗燈最主要是避邪祈福之物，以求息災消業，增福添壽。將參與拜斗信眾的姓名、地址、生辰年月日寫在「令牌」之上，插於裝上米的「米斗」內，上插「斗燈傘」，斗中則有鏡、劍、秤、尺、剪刀等法器，法會期間「斗燈」長明。

The nine-day ceremony was supremely auspicious. The great illuminating blessings of Root Lineage Master Living Buddha Lian-Shen; the great illuminating blessings of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas of the Lianghuang Assembly; the great illuminating blessings of all the Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, and Dharma Protector Vajras of the Yanshan Leizang Temple mandala — the Dharma flow filled the entire venue. All fellow practitioners were filled with Dharma joy, their bodies and minds purified, their faces radiating brilliant smiles.

為期九天的法會無比的殊勝，根本傳承上師蓮生活佛的佛光大加持，梁皇會上佛菩薩的佛光大加持，嚴山雷藏寺壇城諸佛菩薩護法金剛的佛光大加持，法流充滿了整個會場，眾同門法喜充滿，身心清淨，臉上露出燦爛的笑容。

Most thrilling of all was the Yoga Flaming Mouth Grand Dharma Assembly on the final day: a fellow practitioner sister quite unexpectedly captured a photograph of Grand Master personally attending the ceremony — dressed in white dragon robes, his countenance compassionate and smiling, his Dharma appearance majestic and solemn, appearing before the golden form of the Lotus Prince in the mandala. All who were present were overjoyed and deeply moved — feeling profoundly fortunate to be disciples of the True Buddha School; grateful for Grand Master's compassionate care; grateful for his blessings that the ceremony concluded auspiciously and completely, and that the Dharma-hearts of all disciples were strengthened. Special thanks were also offered to Vajra Master Lian Ou and the team of Dharma teachers for guiding everyone through the arduous days of repentance practice; and especially to Master Lian Ou and Master Lian Yu for their magnificent chanting — truly: the lingering melody spiralling upward for three days; reaching up to the Heavenly Palace and down into the earth below; like sweet nectar falling upon the human realm, transforming every place into a pure land.

最令人振奮的是最後一天瑜伽焰口大法會，與會同門師姐竟然無意中拍到了師尊親臨法會的照片，師尊身穿白色龍袍，慈容笑貌，法相莊嚴，出現在壇城蓮花童子金身前。所有與會大眾都興奮不已，心懷踴躍，慶幸身為真佛宗的弟子；感恩師尊的慈悲眷顧，加持法會圓滿吉祥，加持眾弟子們道心堅固；感謝釋蓮歐金剛上師及法師團帶領我們辛苦拜懺；特別感謝蓮歐上師和蓮余法師的精彩唱誦，真是：餘音裊繞，三日不絕；上達天宮，下入地府；似甘露灑下人間，處處化為淨土。
