On this day, Yanshan Leizang Temple solemnly held the Thousand-Armed and Thousand-Eyed Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva Disaster-Pacifying, Blessing-Bestowal, and Deliverance Homa Ceremony. Venerable Master Lian Ming was respectfully invited to preside over the ceremony, with the Dharma teachers jointly offering their support. Members of the fourfold assembly gathered at the ceremonial ground together, sharing in the joy of the Dharma.

嚴山雷藏寺於是日隆重舉行【千手千眼觀世音菩薩息災祈福超度護摩法會】，恭請釋蓮鳴上師主壇，法師們共同護持，四眾善信齊集壇場，同沾法喜。

On the evening before the ceremony, the assembly practised the Avalokiteshvara principal deity Dharma together as prescribed. Using a willow branch dipped in honey, they reverently recited the Great Compassion Mantra 21 times to bless and consecrate the specially prepared offerings for this Homa ceremony — a sincere and resonant act of devotion. During the ritual, the Master practised in accordance with the Dharma, presenting offerings and reciting mantras, beseeching the Thousand-Armed and Thousand-Eyed Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva to look upon all with compassion: to dispel the karmic obstacles of those dwelling in the living world, increase their blessings and wisdom, and bring them peace and good fortune; and to guide the beings of the dark realms toward liberation — dissolving karmic enmity, releasing karmic knots, and enabling them to be reborn in the Pure Land — thus benefiting both the living and the deceased.

法會前一晚，大眾依儀修持觀世音菩薩本尊法，以柳木沾蜜汁，恭誦21遍大悲咒，加持作為本次護摩特製供品，至誠感通。儀式中，上師如法修持、獻供、誦咒，祈請千手千眼觀世音菩薩慈悲垂憐：為陽居者消除災障、增福添慧、平安吉祥；為幽冥眾生接引超薦、解冤釋結、往生淨土，冥陽兩利。

The ceremonial ground was solemn and majestic, the Homa fire pure and bright, the mantra sounds clear and resonant, and all offerings were fulfilled and complete — symbolising that the sincere devotion of the disciples had reached the sacred realm. After the fire offering concluded, the Master led the assembly in a universal dedication of merit, praying for world peace, the safety of all lands, the liberation of all sentient beings from suffering, and the perfection of blessings and wisdom.

壇場莊嚴，護摩火淨，咒音清徹，供品悉皆圓滿，象徵善信至誠已達聖境。火供結束後，上師帶領大眾總迴向，祈願世界和平、國土安寧、眾生離苦得樂、福慧圓成。

After the ceremony reached completion, Master Lian Ming gave a wonderful and illuminating Dharma talk. In a manner both profound and accessible, he explained the origins of the Tai Sui (the Year God), why one performs the Tai Sui devotion, and other questions that concern practitioners — bringing sudden clarity and understanding to all present about the meaning and significance of the Tai Sui practice.

法會圓滿後，蓮鳴上師作了精彩的法語開示。深入淺出地講解太歲的由來，以及為什麼要拜太歲等大家關心的問題，讓與會大眾對拜太歲的意義頓開茅塞、豁然明白。

This ceremony came to a perfect and auspicious close in an atmosphere of harmony and solemnity.
