☸ Buddha's Birthday Compassionate Journey Fills Sydney with Love

☸ 佛誕慈悲之旅，愛心溢滿悉尼

To celebrate the 82nd birthday of His Holiness the Venerable Lian Sheng, the Sydney Huaguang Charity Association of Australia, upholding the Venerable Master's spirit of compassion and care for all beings, transformed gratitude into practical action by holding a charity donation event to send warmth and blessings to the vulnerable in society.

為慶祝聖尊蓮生法王82歲聖誕，澳洲悉尼華光功德會秉承師尊慈悲關懷眾生的精神，將感恩化為實際行動，舉辦慈善捐贈活動，向社會上的弱勢群體送上溫暖與祝福。

On June 22, the Sydney Huaguang Charity Association donated approximately 800 kilograms of food to two major Australian non-profit charities, OzHarvest and Addi Road Food Pantry, to assist families in need with food assistance.

6月22日，悉尼華光功德會向澳洲兩大非牟利慈善機構OzHarvest及Addi Road Food Pantry捐贈約800公斤食物，以協助有需要的家庭獲得食物援助。

      OzHarvest is dedicated to recycling edible surplus food and distributing it to those in need through its nationwide charitable network, reducing food waste and alleviating hunger.

      Addi Road Food Pantry is a key community food assistance network in Sydney, providing food support to over 9,000 people in need each week.

      OzHarvest 致力於回收可食用的剩餘食物，通過其全國慈善網絡將食物分發給有需要的人，減少食物浪費，紓緩飢餓問題。

      Addi Road Food Pantry 是悉尼重要的社區食物援助網絡，每週為超過9,000名有需要的人提供食物支援。

Through the well-established service networks of the two organizations, these donated supplies were delivered to families in need more effectively, bringing practical help and warmth to vulnerable communities.

藉由兩個機構完善的服務網絡，捐贈物資得以更有效地送達有需要的家庭，為弱勢社群帶來實際幫助與溫暖。

Meanwhile, the Sydney Huaguang Charity Association also donated AUD 1,049 to the Cancer Council Australia and AUD 1,670 to the Salvation Army to support cancer research, prevention education, patient support services and community support services, practising the Buddhist spirit of compassion and altruism.

與此同時，悉尼華光功德會亦向澳洲癌症協會捐款澳幣1,049元，向救世軍捐款澳幣1,670元，支持癌症研究、預防教育、患者支援服務及社區支援服務，踐行佛教慈悲利他的精神。

The Sydney Huaguang Charity Association of Australia expresses its gratitude to all the generous donors. Thanks to everyone's support, this charity event was successfully completed, allowing love to reach more people in need. Through charitable donations, we give back to society, practise the spirit of compassion and altruism, and spread care and warmth to every corner of the community that needs help.
