On 13 September 2026, the 3rd day of the 8th Lunar Month, Yanshan Leizang Temple held an advance celebration for the Birthday of Yellow Jambhala (Huang Caishen). Although the actual birthday falls on the following day — the 4th day of the 8th Lunar Month — the temple was already filled with a solemn, harmonious and joyful festive atmosphere.

2026年9月13日，農曆八月初三，悉尼嚴山雷藏寺提前慶祝黃財神聖誕。雖然聖誕正日為翌日八月初四，寺內早已洋溢著莊嚴、祥和而歡喜的節慶氣氛。

On this day, volunteer practitioners carefully prepared all manner of offerings — incense, flowers, lamps, tea, and fruit, together with a beautifully adorned birthday cake and various auspicious offerings — all reverently arranged before the mandala. Many fellow practitioners also joyfully brought along pastries, fresh fruits, and devotional gifts, offering them to Yellow Jambhala with hearts full of sincerity, reverence, and gratitude, as well as presenting offerings respectfully to the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas of the ten directions and the Dharma-protecting dragon heavens.

是日，義工同門用心籌備各項供養，香、花、燈、茶、果，以及精美蛋糕與各式供品，莊嚴陳設於壇城之前。眾多同門亦歡喜攜來糕點、水果及供品，以虔誠之心、恭敬之心、感恩之心，共同供養黃財神，並恭敬奉獻十方諸佛菩薩、護法龍天。

At 11:30 AM, those attending the group practice gathered at the mandala to practise the Yellow Jambhala Principal Deity Dharma together. Throughout the practice, everyone gathered their minds in mantra recitation, offering sincere and wholehearted prayers beseeching Yellow Jambhala to compassionately bestow blessings — praying that all sentient beings may be freed from disaster and have their blessings increased, that their wisdom and merit may grow, that their body and mind may be at peace, that their families may live in harmony, and that all their wishes may be fulfilled.

上午11時30分，參加共修的同門齊聚壇城，共修《黃財神本尊法》。修法之時，大眾攝心持咒、至誠祈禱，祈請黃財神慈悲加持，祈願眾生消災增福、福慧增長、身心安穩、家庭和樂、所求如意。

After the group practice was completed, the assembled practitioners reverently sang a birthday song together and knelt in prostration, each silently offering their personal heartfelt prayers and wishes. May the Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, and Dharma-protecting dragon heavens compassionately watch over all; may all sentient beings have both blessings and wisdom doubled, their merit and virtuous provisions fully equipped, their practice advancing with diligence, and their path of cultivation bearing fruit and attainment. May the Dharma wheel of Yanshan Temple turn ceaselessly, the Dharma spread widely, the fellow practitioners dwell in harmony, and wholesome affinities be formed far and wide.

共修圓滿後，眾同門恭敬獻唱生日歌，並虔誠跪拜，默默許下各自心中的祈願。願諸佛菩薩、護法龍天慈悲護佑，願眾生福慧雙增、資糧具足、修行精進、道業成就；願嚴山道場法輪常轉、佛法廣弘、同門和合、善緣廣結。

Afterwards, everyone gathered joyfully together to share a delicious lunch, bringing this advance celebration of Yellow Jambhala's Birthday to a perfect and auspicious conclusion in an atmosphere of warmth, harmony, and Dharma joy.

隨後，眾人歡喜共聚一堂，共享美味午餐，在一片溫馨祥和、法喜充滿的氣氛中，為此次預祝黃財神聖誕活動畫下圓滿句點。
